How long does a proper CRM implementation take?

With the six correct stages — process on paper, minimum data definition, tool selection, limited rollout, parallel period, and official cutoff — usually eight to twelve weeks. A promise of a "one-day setup" means someone skipped the early stages; the very ones that create failure.

Who should be responsible for CRM implementation?

One named person with decision-making authority, whom the team trusts and who knows the sales process — not necessarily IT, and not necessarily the CEO. A project handed to "everyone" meets the fate of transformation projects everywhere.

Why do most CRM projects miss their goals?

Because they start with the tool instead of the process: the minimum data is never defined, no parallel period is planned for building the habit, and the old system is never cut off. The software isn't at fault; the order of work is wrong.
